The idea for Artisano Bakery Caf was thought up by brothers Michael and Joe Simeone and their friend Kathy Stoodley.

The entrepreneurial trio wanted to translate their love of home-style baking and fresh food into an exciting new restaurant concept a friendly neighbourhood caf where people were treated like guests, not customers. A place where the food was healthy and fresh, not fast and fried. And they wanted it to all happen in a warm and friendly environment where people could relax and enjoy wholesome meals and fresh-baked goods.

This unique concept, the first of its kind in Canada, paired with a rising desire for fresh and wholesome food served up in a friendly and relaxing environment, proved to be a winning combination. While there are a variety of coffee shops and bakeries throughout the country, none of them come close to matching the overall look, feel and fresh taste of Artisano Bakery Caf.
