TAB is a valuable service and networking resource for family and closely business owners and the professionals who serve them. Many owners feel lonely at the top and need a sounding board for issues and ideas. Personally I spent over 8 years on a variety of TAB boards and thoroughly enjoyed as well as benefited from the close relationships, lessons learned, vibrant interaction and networking each month. As a CFO and minority shareholder of a closely held business I found that often some topics either didn't apply to me or I did not have enough clout to make the changes at my Company. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend making the investment in being a member of TAB.
