My kitchen sink was clogged. I tried a couple things myself, including a hand snake I had but it didn’t work. I called Drain Rescue & the lady that answered the phone started asking me questions about my clog & what had I done. I just wanted to book someone to come out, not give her all the details of what I had done. Not impressed with that. They sent a guy out & he gave me a quote without GST. With GST, it came to $390.42. I had asked the office about senior discounts & was told 10% but the technician never mentioned it. I called after he left & got my 10% off after the fact. Ended up $351.38 which is excessively high. I googled kitchen sink snake unclogging & it stated that $108 - $214 was average. Other place quoted $179.50. A lot lower than Drain Rescue. Will never call Drain Rescue again for any plumbing issues. They took advantage of the fact that my sink was clogged... Not impressed.....
