Client Review on 9Round Franchising, LLC

Feedback:

Once again, someone has come up with a new way to do cardio: kickboxing. Fortunately, it's limited to a half hour long. I would NOT advise anyone who is not yet up to the rigours of doing a half-hour straight of cardio-oriented workout, to start on this cold turkey. It is not for everyone, regardless of the marketing materials and promotionals.Kickboxing training is intense. Keeping it on a circuit of three-minute activities, at a high pace for a half hour, is only for people who have previously been training for that length of time and intensity. And this should be all the cardio done for the day, as additional cardio, in place of strength training, leads to muscle loss, not gain. Will 9Round train you to stand up to an amatuer kickboxer? No. It will give you a cardio workout based on existing kickboxing warmups and moves used by actual fighters. It will not actually train you to be in a fight, offend or defend yourself: that's up to an actual martial arts academy, or peer-led amateur training environment. I found out about 9Round from someone who hits the treadmill for an hour at a gym in addition to the 9Round workout, and ultimately this is counter-productive. I don't know when, if ever, people are going to realize that such extensive cardio is not good for you.
