On August 4, 2018 my wife and I decided to drop our son off to Adventure Kids for a time frame of four hours. (3:30pm to 7:50pm) Upon arrival to pick up our child we observed that he had NAIL POLISH on his finger nails. This incident rubbed us the wrong way and of course we were very angry and disappointed that NO ONE had the intelligence to call us and for approval to paint a young 6 year boy's NAILS. At that point my wife and I started questioning our child. Because in my house hold my son was never exposed to a situation like this. Nor is it allowed for a young male to have FEMALE products on them this includes perfumes, makeup, eyelash, nail polish etc. However the young MALE worker decided upon himself that he would apply a chemical product such as NAIL POLISH to my child's fingers which he assumed was acceptable". Again in my household this is unacceptable. Also, within my home we teach our child to respect and obey his authority figures PERIOD. In this situation it totally back fired. Upon this experience we decided to review this establishment later to find out that the MALE who was working at the time is the OWNER'S SON. Now I do not believe in imposing my beliefs on to some one else. Just as I would not want some one to impose their beliefs on to me nor family. HOWEVER the male imposed his beliefs on to my son. This totally out of line. However the OWNER defended her SON as if their belief override what we are instilling into our child. This is so messed because my son has never been exposed to anything like this before. Now by this individual deciding that they would IMPOSE his beliefs on to my child my wife and I now have to explain an aspect of life to a BABY who has only been exposed to situation that is geared towards building a strong and intelligent male.The saddest thing about this situation is that NO is taking responsibility for what has transpire. We even had the POLICE CALLED on us for a possible ABUSE situation. "WE WOULD NEVER HARM OUR CHILD". Having the police called on us was insulting. My child is in a very constructive and stable environment.So far no the OWNER has only read our reviews to RESPOND not to UNDERSTAND THAT HER SON was out of LINE. PERIOD. We are were taught to asks for PERMISSION to do thing as children and when we were children our PARENTS who were over us were asked to give consent because we were not at the AGE were we could make a decision for ourselves. ESPECIALLY in a places such as a DAYCARE or SCHOOL. WE were not informed nor did we give consent written or verbally to have my baby boys NAILS POLISHED. WHY WOULD THIS COMPANY ALLOW THIS? WHY THE OWNER UPHOLD HER SON FOR PUSHING HIS BELIEFS ON TO MY CHILD? THIS IS WRONG! The police officer who responded to call was shocked that Adventure kids would decide this incident was okay. The workers tried to paint a picture to the police as if my wife and I were BARBARIANS and that we going to torture our child. WE were upset and no one can control how we handle our frustration. I could have really went off but what would that teach my son. PLEASE RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE AND THEIR lifestyle. Just because the owner and her son believe in a certain way of living you should not FORCE that on to someone so innocent. This is sad!
