We are completely pleased with the care, competence and compassion of both Amada as a company and with the caregiver they provided. My mother loved her and we felt totally safe and happy with her care. My mother had suffered a stroke and had dementia and aphasia and and we had this caregiver from day one of need through the last 8 years of her life. It was a complicated journey and I can’t thank Amada enough for their care and concern every time I called and for the amazingly sweet, smart and strong caregiver we had through them. I recommend them often and would only call them if any future need arises.

If your senior has a very minimal situation and needs only basic care, then this service might be able to handle it. But in my experience they were in over their heads from the onset but were just too greedy to admit they were failing. All they wanted was insurance money.Their caregivers are generally well intentioned, but by no means trained to deal with anything other than physical illness, but not physical illness combined with mental illness. Unfortunately management did not understand or care about the upfront advice they were given regarding the implications of mental illness, and instead plowed ahead for months without accepting responsibility for lacking skills in the area which mattered most.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the professionalism and responsiveness of the Amada team that has worked with me to ensure that my husband, Duke, is well taken care of during the various phases of his illness. The field team of caregivers has been exceptional and coordinated very effectively by William. He has been accessible and empathetic to my needs throughout my interactions with Amada. My ability to understand the way the healthcare system works and the interface with long term insurances has been very dependent on the guidance of Scott and Caitlyn. Both have been keys to working through the "hoops" that we must jump through in this situation. The impact of this professional, friendly management and field group has been a smooth handling of the care requirements. I would recommend the Amada team to anyone who is in need of a professional, caregiving company.

Veronica has been with us for many months taking care of my husband Mike, and she is compassionate with him, careful, thorough, and is great with me, too. She helps around the house, cooks meals when asked, and communicates very well. She has a good sense of humor and a positive attitude. She arrives when scheduled and stays late when possible if I can't get home in time. I couldn't ask for a better caregiver.

When my aunt started having memory problems and became at risk for wandering, our family had to accept the fact that we would not be able to continue caring for her at home. The team at Amada Orange County were incredibly compassionate to her and our family. They found the ideal assisted living facility for my aunt to be comfortable and safe and feel happy by having the sense that people truly cared for her. Amada Orange County's caregivers are trained in assisting seniors with symptoms of dementia. They have been so patient, kind and wonderful to my aunt! Our family has peace of mind knowing she is getting the best of care.

Amada has recently started caring for my wife's 94 year-old grandmother and they have been fantastic. I understand they are currently under new ownership, and from what we've experienced, the staff and caregivers have bene top notch! Highly Recommend!

Everything about this agency is terrible. From the way they treat there employees to the lack of any training and understanding of the task that needs to be done. Completely unfair and unprofessional. They also dont treat clients with the utmost respect. It's always about the bottom dollar with this company. They also preach educational advancement for the employees but when it comes to it they dont want the employees to better themselves. They basically want slave employees that will answer them at there every whim. Someone should really look into what is going on with this agency. Some course of action should be taken on behalf of their employees as well as clients.Would strongly advice on finding another senior care agency.
