About - Between Rounds Bagel Deli & Bakery
Joe Puiia, Founder
19A John Fitch Blvd, Route 5 | South Windsor, Connecticut, 06074 In 1990, Between Rounds had its start in Vernon, Connecticut when The Bagel Stop opened.
This first store, owned by Jerry Puiia, was patterned on a store that Jerry's dad (Vito) and his brother (Joe) owned in Hoboken, New Jersey. One year later, Jerry and his brother opened a second Bagel Stop in South Windsor, Connecticut. Since the beginning, the Puiia brothers have manufactured and sold their own bagels, a hallmark which really sets them apart from other cafs.
Between Rounds has been in business for over twenty years, and the franchise prides itself on recognizing and embracing change as it occurs. During those past years, numerous changes were made from changing the name to "Between Rounds" to developing the correct franchise look that would fit anywhere in the country. All locations offer free wi-fi for customers, who are welcome to bring their laptops and enjoy a leisurely meal. The menu has expanded from fresh, homemade bagels, to offer wraps, panini sandwiches, salads, espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and many other unique and sumptuous items.
In addition to modern, comfortable interiors with the atmosphere of an upscale bakery sandwich caf, Between Rounds also offers our customers the convenience of a drive-thru window for when they're on-the-go.

Overall Feedback:
Place is great, but would you guys mind asking if people want their sandwich or bagel cut, please.Personally I LOVE my sandwiches or bagel whole. If you guys do come and stop in this shop, ask for the everything bagel toasted. I do not know why , but it taste SO GOOD! Better than Dunkin, better than Price Choppers Homemade.Update:08/07/2019 08:56I had to drop my rating down because I asked not to slice my BLT w/egg and they sliced it anyway, I kept fumbling with my sandwich too keep it together. So with this being said, the ONLY thing favorable was the bag of Lays Chips. I also asked for extra onions for my wife's sandwhich and it was like 3 pieces of onion. Highly disappointed today.
