Josh Whitney at Brightway is either incompetent or uneducated. Regardless, he clearly has not been in the "home buyer's" shoes before and does not understand the position. He has had an attitude with and threatening towards my real estate agent AND my home inspector regarding my policy. I do not recommend Brightway or Josh to anyone.

This agency has put me in a terrible position! I just purchased a home. They issued me a policy number and provided evidence of insurance to my mortgage company and 3 weeks later I received and over payment refund check. No additional correspondence other than a welcome to the family letter! I emailed regarding the refund check and they explained that my policy was declined and I never actually had a policy with them. So they lied to my mortgage company and myself for 3 weeks and let me think there were no problems. Now I am sure I will have to pay an astronomical fee for force placed insurance for lack of coverage due to no fault of my own. If that happens I plan on filing a lawsuit against them! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR INSURANCE NEEDS!!

I had a similar experience of that a customer posted here. Received insurance when purchasing my home, they told mortgage company they would insure me. I paid the policy then a week later was told my home was not qualified for Florida home insurance, after I paid for the inspection and everything at first was approved. Hoping I will find affordable insurance.

Brightway Insurance, The Miller Agency in Neptune Beach, Home Owners that is, is treating you in a very fraudulent way. I had one actual claim after the hurricane in 2017 and they paid for the damages. But - and here you need to be very careful - they also report you as having additional claims when you just have questions about your home owners Insurance. They have reported us somewhere that we had 3 claims which is untrue, they did not pay anything out! They will not remove the 2 inquiries, which were not claims! This is preventing us now from getting a good rate on Renter Insurance. Beware of these folks. We cannot recommend them.I
