Worst exam center.

I went to this place on 24.8.2019 to give my Nainital bank examination. I must say that as far campus is concerned, it is average. The campus has only one rectangular large building with 4-5 floors of about 50 meters long. The entrance to building is from backside. The building is now old, with paint getting wear and tear, dust, low quality furniture, many small classrooms with computers for competitive exams. Each room can house 30 students. The rooms have big windows, fans. Few rooms are open type with iron grills as closure. I cannot take inside pics as it is not allowed during exams. Staff their is impatient and behaved angrily. Outside building there is separate room for mobile and bags disposal for security. Campus is divided into 2 walled parts for parking field and for building. Building campus area is small with small security on entrance & wild grass park on back. Outside campus area is allowed to be encroached by public transport after exams. It has open field for just parking and on side a small dhaba type for snacks and tea. The poor thing is locating the campus through small dirty and worn out roads behind CDRI. Rest is average. I rate it 3/5 overall.

Don't feel lucky if this is your exam centre until you reach before time. Road condition is not good. Auto etc might not be available to reach here. Commute around CDRI boundary wall clockwise to reach here

Online exam centre having capacity of 1000 students in single shift, since the place is on the outskirts of the city, so you have to hire cabs, erickshaws, autos from engineering college chauraha to reach here, engineering college chauraha is famous chauraha 4-5kms from this exam centre.Facility of keeping baggage and mobile phones available at nominal rate.

This place is simply pathetic. In summers the exam centre would give you the feel of a desert. Not even fans are installed properly. Road connectivity is in shambles and gives you an instant reality check that our country is a developing one and there is still lot to be done.
