Client Review on Country Visions

Feedback:

I sent in a $300 check that was specifically noted as post dated, and was addressed to the financial department that deals with past due balances. They cashed it the same day they received it in the mail. I called when i found out they tried to cash it, and I was told by April that she handles "thousands" of checks per day, tells me I will be charged an NSF fee, and she offered no apology. INSTEAD continues on with how bad I've been with making payments!!! I explained to her that my account was past due because they have me on a keep fill. Explained to her that now I have a $30 NSF from their office, as well as my bank. No apology given for the inconvenience. April then tries telling me its not her responsibility to look at dates on checks. Excuse me? What is your job?? She is the only one who handles past due accounts. This matter was over her attention to detail and she was FIRM that it wasnt her fault, but mine instead, for being in the position to even have to talk to her, because I wasn't paying my bill. She then tells me "it's illegal to post date a check, and she could turn me in." Completely rude and uncalled for. I was calling because I wanted to pay my bill, and wanted to resolve this issue. If the check would have been cashed the very next day, my payday, none of this would have happened. The check I sent with my invoice had a note with it to show It was dated one day in advance. This woman, April Schultz, belittled me and made me feel like garbage. As if I'm not a human being who deserves respect, I'm an account, thats past due. I was calling because I wanted the payment to be completed, and if she would have been more careful, I wouldnt have dealt with this, or $60 worth of NSF fees, But according to her, if I would've just paid, I wouldn't have been talking to her. My account was on a keep fill. They stop by whenever to leave me a bill for a 500 gal tank, at whatever the propane price is at the time. So if it jumps up to $1.99, they hop in their trucks and top off everyone's tank. I work two jobs as it is, but for her to degrade me for my financial status, even when I'm on the phone to pay the damn bill, thats just apalling. Horrible experience and I will be telling everyone about it. UPDATE: February 28th, 2018Country visions tank was removed IMMEDIATELY after this situation. I was afraid they would try taking the propane that was already paid for in the tank, so I made sure to have my new provider (COUNTRYSTYLE PROPANE) pump it out before calling to have Country Visions removed. Also, I called the manager of the Country Visions Reedsville office, Steve spoke with me about the horrible experience. I explained he is losing a customer on behalf of April Schultz. He removed the $30 NSF and apologized sincerely for her behavior. Still telling everyone about this experience. And hearing very negative feedback anytime the business gets brought up. I already convinced my family friend to switch from country visions who owns a huge local dairy farm and uses over 200,000 gallons of propane yearly for his cattle barns. Word DOES get around.
