Trendy pizza... I prefer standard fare when it comes to pizza. Food was good and the pizza maker was nice. I had the Brooklyn Bridge and would get it again.

I found the pizza to be quite good — above average at a fair price. I had the standard dough (as this was my first visit), and it was tasty albeit a bit cracker like at the slight burned edges. It doesn’t carry the same gravitas as scorched Neapolitan style dough. All in all, no complaints about the pizza. My two-star review stems from the fact that the listing indicates the restaurant serves beer and wine and, alas, it does not. Having elected to walk 8 blocks (16 round trip) on a cold day for pizza and a beer, an above average pizza, alone, didn’t make the grade.

I’ve been to Fuel Pizza, but not custom fuel pizza. I didn’t think this place was very good. The gluten-free pizza was just OK. Pizza didn’t really seem cooked and the service was pretty lousy.

Great pizza! Proportions are large but can be great for a hungry individual. The garlic knots are tasty but leave a bit to be desired. Instead of knots they are more strips of dough with a garlic better spread over them. I could take them or leave them.

The best fast, make your own pizza spot in DC, in my opinion. It also helps that they have a gluten free crust (caution if you are sensitive to minimal cross contact).
