Crazy, neurotic dog mom. Yup, that describes me pretty well. To say I am picky is an understatement. I am nuts when it comes to my baby. And thank Goodness for the sweet, understanding, patient staff at D Pet Hollywood. They let me vent, they let me get my crazy out, and then they brought me back to reality. I am a first time dog mom, and like any new baby, I am always super nervous. My little doodle Pierogi is only 6 months old, and this was the first time I have ever left her. The staff at the hotel, Kenny, Joselito and Nicolette, gave me such great advice, and knowledge...they really know a lot about dogs and that made me feel so much more at ease. Whenever I asked for pic updates, they always sent me nice pics of Pierogi having fun with her new friends. She had a little diarrhea on the first day, which they said was common with first time boarders in a new environment. They offered some options to help ease her tummy, and were always super thorough on their updates. I guess the only negative was they don't have webcams, but I guess that is a blessing in disguise for me, because I would be so obsessed looking at the webcams, I would have never enjoyed my vacation. The picture updates gave me such piece of mind. They are professionals and they know what they are doing.Definitely get a bath before check out. Day in and day out of non stop play and doggie slobber really takes its toll, and having a beautifully brushed clean pup is a great surprise! Pierogi was so happy to see me, and she slept like a champ when she got home. We brought her in for daycare a couple of days after her boarding, and she dragged me in to the lobby. That itself is the best testimony any parent could ever ask for.Thank you D Pet for loving my Pierogi as much as I do!!
