DASH IN Food Stores first opened in 1979 in Laurel, Maryland, with a commitment to serve local communities with top selling everyday convenience items and high quality, freshly made fried chicken, pizza and sandwiches.

Based in Southern Maryland, DASH IN opened many stores over the next 20 years throughout Prince Georges County as well as Charles, Calvert and St. Marys Counties and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. These stores offered a variety of franchised food offerings such as Subway, Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins, along with the DASH IN proprietary fried chicken and fresh cut potato wedges.

DASH IN quickly developed into and became well known as an everyday, convenient stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
