I bought a house with a desjoyaux pool, after having a hard time with the pump I learned that there isn't one pool store in my area or a pool pump mechanic that know anything or want to do anything with the pool or pump. Long story short I need to order parts from France because all the shops here in Canada have went bankrupt and it's only a matter of time till the same thing g happens in the USA and all of you will have the same problem. The be sand filter is the way to go, as soon as something else happens I'm doing a whole conversion. Btw it cost me 1500 just for a rebuild of the pump. What good is a pool supplier if they can't take care of their previous customers.
