What am I missing? I went there last night (after a recommendation) and found the food to be incredibly mediocre, that I couldn't believe my taste buds. I ordered Dominick's fettuccine, and my two friends ordered veal parm and baked ziti. Not one of us enjoyed their meal. As a Bronx native, three out of three in my book is definitely a strike out. The waiter didn't even wait to ask us if we wanted something to drink. We ended up with water. I'm okay with the "no frills" but I was optimistic the meal would be worth it. I took the remainder of my meal home in a 'doggie bag'...why, I don't know...maybe in the hope that I can doctor it up and end up with a halfway decent lunch.
