UPDATE: I am happy to report a satisfactory update on this situation: an EagleRider representative, contacted me via email and has arranged to make my full pre-paid amount available to me again as agreed “anytime, anywhere”! Daniel Diaz was extremely understanding, helpful, and friendly as all my previous interactions were with ER local personnel. He made things right and sent me a new voucher for my use in the future. I am very happy with the outcome. ~HeidiORIGINAL POST: I am so disappointed in EagleRider as a company. When I was on a business trip to SLC, I rented a motorcycle to tour the area and pre-paid for the rental in full - $375. When I arrived to pick up the bike, the local store gave me a rain check due to weather. I expressed concern that I wouldn’t be able to use the rain check because I didn’t live anywhere near an EagleRider store but they assured me I could use the rain check anytime, anywhere. I was happy with that and a lot of friendly chit-chat ensued.So I recently called corporate to claim the rain check when I was on vacation and I was told they would gladly honor my rain check. Lots of friendly conversation ensued. Then later, that confirmation was abruptly reversed by a “higher-up” at the EagleRider corporate office in CA and that conversation was not friendly at all. In fact, the employee that had to tell me the bad news was so embarrassed that he actually raised his voice! I was told that since Harley-Davidson had partnered with EagleRider their official policy was now a one year limited rain check, which I was 6 months past, according to my email receipt. I wasn’t grand-fathered nor was I contacted so that I could try and use or transfer the rain check before the deadline. So I’m out $375 and I have no recourse except to express my disappointment as a #ladyofharley and #HOGmember and potential #eaglerider (though that will never happen now).
