I was visiting the area south of Market Street, wandering the area for the first time in nearly 8 years when Extreme Pizza looked like something I wanted to take back to my place and eat. I ordered one of their specialty pizzas and it was good. Good enough to cost over $25.00, probably not. I know, everything in SF is higher about double compared to average cities, but Pizza shouldn't cost twice here compared to other places.

FINALLY. good pizza in Berkeley. sorry cheeseboard fans but that just can't compare. (cheeseboard has always been a glorified fat slice for me)the crust here is spectacular and they have the right amount of topping to crust ratio. i'm basically just happy that i can take my friends here and say, SEE, i'm not crazy, such pizza really does exist! Loads of interesting vegan and gluten free options, range of portion sizes and a bunch of deals. Really cool decor and you cam watch sports as you eat if that's your thing. Loved it!

The pizza is decent at this location, but no where near as good as other Extreme Pizzas. The ambiance and service are what win this location over. Cool little beach house design and friendly workers. The biggest downfall is the restrooms. They are old and stink. If this place would remodel their bathrooms and have a little better pizza it could be an easy 4 Star location.
