We went to this place for a birthday party and it was a very bad experience! Kids wanted to run around and try different things but they were not allowed had to wait for instructors. You cant run you cant climb anywhere that they have black mats! I am surprised you are allowed to breathe! About 5 kids to one instructor. I would not waste my time or money to go here again nor ever recommend this place! High Exposure in northvale 100% better than this place!!

I'm afraid if heights. I get jelly legs looking over edges more than 15 feet above ground. Fortunately, at the Gravity Vault, my face was 6 always inches away from a vertical wall and I was kept preoccupied looking upwards for the next handhold, so it kept my fears at bay. Instead, I rapidly got jelly legs and arms from the strenuous workout! I called it quits after 4 climbs. It also helped that the climbing guide was really relaxed and encouraging. Great fun!

Very helpful and experienced staff and well equipped facilities. The price is right and I highly recommend the trip. If you’re on the edge about going, do it!

Good, basic all around climbing gym. Decent for training, good route setting, and quite possibly the most diligent in regards to cleanliness that I’ve ever been to.They do periodically host a fair number of special events so be sure to check ahead of time.

i had my sons birthday party here and it was so much fun! him and his friends had a great time and even the adults had a great time seeing how high they could climb. great place and cant wait to do it again.

Super chill atmosphere, great music, and fun climbing routes! Evan was also an awesome belay instructor, very thorough and patient! 👍 👍

Clean, well-kept facilities, helpful staff, plenty of challenging climbing options. There are several solo-climb/self-belaying available. They do provide belay training if you choose to assist others. The bouldering walls are designed well. All climbing options have varying levels designated by color making it easy for beginners to experts to find their desired route. There are even walls for children in which the hand holds are colorful animals. The friends we went with have their own shoes, harnesses, and equipment, but those items are available to rent at Gravity Vault if needed.
