Back in July we had asked Scott Bergeron from The Mighty Badge or Imprint Plus if they sold the plastic covers for the name tags by themselves and you said yes. You even sent us a quote. We told you we would let you know as soon as we have the order in and that we were very interested. We just called to make the order and to find that you were on vacation and were not available, so we spoke to Colleen and then to Melissa who tells us that you made a mistake and they do not sell the plastic covers alone. We already have an order in process for 400 name tags and were counting on ordering the covers from you. It is very bad business practice for any company, let alone a company of your size to tell us that what we asked for was possible, even go as far as send an actual quote for the products we wanted to buy. Now we have to call OUR client and tell them we can't deliver what they ordered or I have to find another company that know what they are doing and let MY client know they are going to have to pay more or wait more time for their order.Today when we talked to your "so called" boss Melissa and asked to speak to someone else and she said there was nobody else I could speak to which is frankly pretty impossible and the only other person was Joan but that unfortunately she was also "unavailable" as she was on vacation and nobody knew when she would be back. If you were not sure if what we wanted was possible, WHY would you say yes. We just don't understand where the miscommunication was because we asked you SEVERAL times if you sold the covers by themselves and the answer was ALWAYS yes. There was NEVER any mention to us that the plastic covers were not sold separately OR that they only fit on your particular name tags. We had a sample from your company and our tags and they fit and that was not even your concern. It was our company who was running the risk, which we know it would fit, so it was none of your concern; we just wanted what was quoted for us. Melissa told me she would let Joan know as soon as she could but we assume that that is not going to happen as I was told over the phone very hesitantly that she was unavailable for the foreseeable future apparently only to a few days later to receive a call to tell me the same thing. Why call back if you can’t do anything about it.WHERE is the Management Responsibility? Why is your company not trying to solve the problem one THEIR employees created for us? Just know that there is something going wrong with the communication between departments, employees to management and company to client and we will not be reaching out anymore for any business having to do with Imprint Plus or The Mighty Badge.
