*** Problem solved! The GM (Mr. Perez) took care of the problem quickly and I was satisfied with his explanation of how the issue was not brought to his attention. ***DO NOT trust these people with your credit or debit card!!!I don't typically complain online, but after my experience, I feel it's necessary to warn people, and share my experience.I went to the 410/Blanco location a few weeks ago, I ordered 2 beers and put them on my debit card. Shortly after ordering the 2 beers, I asked to close my tab. Someone else in our group offered to pay for the 2 beers I ordered, so the bartender handed me my debit card, and told me my balance was "zero". Imagine my surprise when I checked my account, a couple days later, and saw that I was charged $88.74!!!I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with a manager. I was told that the GM would have to take care of the mistake, but he wasn't in when I called. The next day, I drove all the way back to the restaurant (I don't live close to the restaurant) to speak with the GM, but he wasn't there. I spoke with a different manager who was very apologetic, but said she did not have the authority to fix their mistake. She assured me the GM was aware of the problem and would contact me that day to resolve their mistake. It's been 3 weeks and I've yet to hear from this general manager. I've called several times, only to be told that he is "unavailable" or is not in, that day. I don't know if it's incompetence or cowardice that prevents the GM from talking to me and correcting his employee's mistake. If my employee made a mistake and overcharged a customer, I would be very quick to fix the mistake and make a very sincere apology. Unfortunately, the fact remains- I had $88 STOLEN from my account by the Lion and Rose.There are plenty of places in this city to drink, watch sports, and eat. I would strongly encourage people to spend their money elsewhere.

This review is for the Forum location. My husband and I ate here tonight and were pretty dissapointed with the food. They must have changed the menu/recipe a bit since the last time we were there. The Corn Beef n Cabbage, was chopped up and fried in greasy oil and cracked pepper. The condiment was mustard and what looked like some type of lard/mayo, I dont know >.< The Shepherds Pie seemed as though they chopped up the left over meat loaf, topped it with instant mash/peas/carrots and gravy. The soup of the day was Veggie, I'm asuming they used frozen peas carrots, and a lot of chopped onion in broth... thats it nothing else bland and boring... My 4 year old could make better soup.... REALLY DISSAPOINTING!!!Server was nice...

I agree with others that the Fish and Chips is very good. However, I know for sure that they stopped using real potatoes to make their mashed potatoes so beware if you order mashed potatoes or bubble and squeak. Personally, I don't get why any restaurant would use a mashed potato mix instead of real fresh potatoes but just my opinion. Burgers are also very good.

This is not the Lion and Rose pub location, it is their 'Corporate Office' - there seems to be some confusion on google. I had looked on their website for locations, but then used google maps on my phone when in my car and unfortunately when I saw 5 reviews talking about the food etc I thought this was one of their pub locations, but when I arrived it was an office. The girl who worked there was rather sharp in her manner, and the office was really odd looking with trash and junk littered around on the floor, she was more concerned with making sure I understood it was my mistake than with making sure I knew where to go to find one of the pubs. She quickly listed a couple of places to go to, but we are new to SA and had no idea where they were, and she wasn't interested in making sure we knew where to go. Didn't offer to write down the address or give directions or anything for us, she just wanted me to show her the website where I had seen the location listed but didn't care that I was confused. So we left with a sour taste due to her attitude and went to a different restaurant.
