As a Registered Nurse looking for the opportunity to start my own company, it seemed that a natural progression was to open a medical staffing and recruitment company which I did in Kentucky in August of 2018. Initially, having concerns of the business being able to generate enough income, I continued my career as a RN and became a semi absentee owner, hiring employees to run the business. Two months after the launch of my business, having acquired several contracts, I was able to leave my job and devote my full energy to the operation of my business. Just shy of the 1-year anniversary of the business, I am extremely happy with the continued growth of my company and have recently hired an additional employee.
