So disappointed in this atlanta melting pot. We have gone to atlanta many times and visited this establishment. Unfortunately tonight was a disappointment. Not in food. Food is good. Our disappointment is in the way Daniel the manager handled a very easy situation. Background of story. Upon arrival to Atlanta we called repeatedly about valet parking and they never picked up. The hostess ignored the call to Melting Pot. Which was obvious because we parked, paid and walked in and she was doing nothing. My husband called her on his cell and she watched it ring. (Kinda funny considering we were inline watching her and when she picked up then my husband hung up). Moving on. We asked about parking and she said she will ask about validating with the manager. Never heard from him. We then ordered food and drinks and asked Grace (our waitress) who again said to us to wait for the manager. We actually liked Grace and we believed her. $400 later. We were ready to leave after staying a nice time and eating good food. We asked Grace and she said “he never came to your table??” We answered no. Their manager came up to us after Grace’s attempt to get him. He basically stated that they can’t validate parking. That we “should of called” before hand or “should of asked for him”. We did both. After we stated that we did both and were ignored he did not care. He did not Care anymore about the story and when specifically asked “are you going to do anything??” He looked around bewildered and said no. We frequent this MP a lot and will not be back. We were treated badly. They couldn’t help with validation yet we asked repeatedly for this manger who never came?? When he did. He brushes us off. That’s not good business. It’s ashame that Daniel is manager. Somebody else who knows customer service should be in charge. I’ll spread the word and make it known this Guy should not be a manager. He is in the wrong business of hospitality. By the way the parking was $5.00 and the manager let a $400 family stroll out upset rather than helping. It’s about the way we were treated by a well established franchise. Sad. Thanks.
