We contracted with My Guys Moving to move from our home to a condo in Leesburg. The move was daunting for my husband and I, however, this company made it easier for us. We were so pleased with their expertise and kindness. They did an excellent job and explained the entire process because we had to place all our thing in storage. The office staff and the movers were wonderful and we highly recommend their services!

What was supposed to be a good experience turned into an extremely dissatisfied outcome!We were referred to this company. Spoke to Terry who was supposed to be an expert with estimates and with the moving process.We were estimated of 4-6 hours in total. We felt strange that an actual site estimate wasn’t done, but relied on their expertise and knowledge for this move.The day arrived, the company send a rather small truck for what was needed with three movers. These gentlemen worked really hard to assist us, trying to cramp all they could but couldn’t move berthing we had. Even our mattress was hung and tied up on the back of the truck. I had to jump in a help carrying boxes in and out of the truck.As a result, the move took a total of almost 12 hours, we were all exhausted under a full day of over 90 degree heat. Our movers on site even said that this would easily be a 4-5 persons job with a bigger truck.We had to leave behind a good 20 boxes of essential items with desks and other household equipments.When communicating to Terry via a third part referral, he stated that his management could only remedy another truck to come back and haul the rest of the items left behind with an additional $300 charge within the next few days.Not only we were under estimated for the total hours needed and men to assist, which ended in a 12 hours wait and cost to us, with essential items left behind for us to take care of, but they also wanted to charge us extra for coming back to haul the items they couldn’t fit in their truck in the first place. At no point anyone, including Terry actually reached out to us with a call, let alone an apology and a reasonable remedy.I strongly recommend potential customers do their due diligence, to research carefully and to stay clear of this company/person, due to their lack of professionalism and honesty. We strong felt this company or its representative under estimated us to get our business, period! As our first time moving and using a moving company, we didn’t know what to expect, and they didn’t even come out for a site visit to make sure their estimate is relatively accurate, thus leaving us stranded with items left behind on our own, a hefty 12 hour invoice to pay and not even a call or an offer to remedy the situation. After our referral source contacted them, they wanted to come back to take care of the rest for an additional charge.This is not the type of service you want to have with the price that you’d pay for!All we can say is these folks are extremely unprofessional and dishonest!!!

As far as moving is concerned, this was an absolutely excellent experience - the movers were punctual, polite, and highly efficient and the reservation process was simple. We will use My Guys Moving & Storage for every move as long as they are in business. 10/10, would and will recommend to anybody looking for movers.

Great team. First I worked with Joe Jenkins. He made the cost appraisal easy and honest. It was very fair and competitive. The RBR team showed up on moving day and blasted through the house. They took extra time to protect the floors and carpets and did not stop! Don't sacrifice quality. My Moving guys are awesome and worth every penny!

The service is a joke. The online quote includes going through hoops, online forms, phone calls and etc. at the end I’ve been quoted $600-650 to move several boxes (under 10) and one bed from DC to DC.

Tony, Max, Napo and Uriel were great! They worked quickly and carefully and were mindful that we were paying by the hour. They answered questions I had quickly and easily. When our furniture was being delivered and I changed my mind about where something went they were great about moving it. I would definitely recommend and use them again!
