Client Review on Nic's Mobile BBQ

Disappointed. The food was mediocre and priced high for what you get. First off, if you order online and they are out of something they'll cancel your whole order then call and let you know. They have their reasons but inconvenient to redo for bigger orders. We only had one tray with the sold out item and it was a sampler where you pick two meats so that'd be easy to call and make a substitution. Second try on order did go through and was done fast. The portions were inconsistent. Husband barely got any brisket but my tray had more. Brisket was just okay. I didn't like the ribs.They were kind of fatty like something I could make in my oven instead of what I expect of smoked/slow cooked ribs from a BBQ place. My husband who is less picky ate them. Pulled pork was good. They got one of our side dishes wrong and most sides are just okay besides the TERRIBLE cinnamon apples. It is literally barely sweetened, cold, chunky apple sauce with cinnamon sprinkled on top. We expected spiced baked apples like everywhere else serves. First 2 sauces I didn't care for just tasted like vinegar and one was a basic bbq sauce that was fine. Nothing about this place was good enough to order again...
