I wish I could recommend this organization, but unfortauntley after three attempts, I will no longer be using OUG. I have both a cat and a dog. I did an initial screening where I phsyically showed an employee how to do everything to my liking. The first visit, my dog was not fed due to a "miscommunication". I also asked for the visit to occur between 4-6 and the service was completed at 2:00 PM. The second visit, after a lengthy phone call discussing how poorly my first visit went and hoping that everything would be corrected, still wasn't right. I asked that one small lamp be left on, and during the first and second visit, the walker turned literally every single light on in my apartment. I also expressed that the dog and cat's food needed to be separated so they would not consume each other's food, but this wasn't done. I gave it one last shot and on the third visit, I came home to complete darkness (apparently asking for a lamp to be left on is really confusing for this company). My cat's dry food bowl was also overflowing with food which is sloppy and again completely ignored my instructions. I am giving the company two stars (instead of just one) for their decent ability to be available when I wanted to share my frustration. However, this company is disorganized and will constantly just give you a "we'll make a note of it for the future" response when things go wrong. There's too many options in Chicago to keep putting up with such poor service, so I'd advise going elsewhere!

While you are on vacation, an Out-U-Go! sitter will stay at your home with your furry family. They call it a "sleep-over cuddle-fest." I hired them to stay with my boxers, Butch and Jane, when I was in New York last week. They did a great job! I highly recommend this company. They have had a key to my beautiful home for the past two years and I trust them completely.
