Had an event recently with friends on 24th of Feb. The place is just right for small gatherings and near the train station. Staffs are very friendly and helpful especially the caretaker.Would appreciate if at least 30min early access to the venue for party preparation.I have recommended this place to friends and colleagues.

Had a family party here last Saturday and it all went quite well. Until the security guy Mustapha who let us in at 1800 tells me that he cant come back at midnight to see us out as it is too late. I arranged to do all the cleaning and he was meant to check it. I said as it was late and he didn't want to come back I would meet him there in morning for him to check and make sure it was clean enough.when I call him on Sunday he tells me I cant come and do anything as he didn't work on Sunday. now they do not want to give me my deposit back because 1 cigarette butts on floor outside on road. 2 I did not put 8 chairs back in the main hall 3 there was a half of a broken bottle and 3 sausage rolls on the floor.4 also someone had left a jumper on the floor.They only provide a floor duster (no broom) and no mop and no dustpan and brush to clear anything up with. The security guy now refuses to take my calls. They tell me the next client had to have the hall by 0800 on the Sunday but I have spoken to that client who tells me it was 09.45. he agrees with me there is no cleaning equipment there to enable you to do a good job of cleaning up after a party. I feel I have been ripped off and will be taking it further through the small claims court

Used this place for a service. Lovely venue and ambiance and customer service from staff is outstanding. Entrance a bit tricky cause you have to be bold enough to go round the building, through the back to the entrance by the side (all in the dark) if you are using any time after sunset. Having said that, it makes sense where the entrance is cause of the fire exit but maybe to provide lights and well lit signs directing people to the entrance? The kitchen also really tiny and can only fit one person in there. The main hall is nicely decorated but the aide rooms on the ground floor need to have their carpet replaced as too many stains there. But still absolutely love this venue and would definitely recommend for an intimate gathering of up to 80people.

Had a family and friends meet here recently. Nice place for a small group. It is a good place if you would like to plan dance or yoga classes. Can seat 100 comfortably. Parking at near by parking lots. Lighting is good and price is affordable. Ventilation may be a concern.

Good place for activities, but not the best place to get to with a stroller. Poor accessibility for either wheelchairs, walking aids or prams.

Wonderful place to take young children, homestart have so many activities laid out to entertain the children and the staff are really friendly and welcoming.
