This landlord is disgusting. Me and my partner asked to see a property on walker street because it was the only one that allowed pets. Not only were we asked why we wanted such a big property but we were dismissed based on age. My wife is 36 years old has worked in management roles all her life and I work 12hr shifts and I'm at university part time. Where we going to get the time to have so called house parties and go out getting pissed??? Anyway any form of discrimination is in breach of the discrimination act and is a criminal offence. We actually wanted the property mainly for the pets and me and wife want to start a family but anyway the letting agent then showed us properties that don't allow pets and booked us in for a viewing that doesn't take pets. Not only have they messed us about but they have been very Blaise about the situation not taking any accountability and if I don't get an adequate response justifying their reasoning behind the descision made against me and my wife I'll be taking the matter to their property ombudsman. Absolutely disgraceful conduct!
