Feedback:
I'll start with the positive: the staff were wonderful and everything was very clean. Everyone we encountered was cheerful and helpful. However, there were lots of minor issues with the hotel that added up. The walls are INCREDIBLY thin - children kept us awake the first two nights, and other "adult" activities constantly woke us on the third. There is virtually no privacy. The rooms are laid out strangely - our room had two doors to two hallways and no external windows/no natural light. Since we faced the atrium, there was CONSTANT noise and echoes. There was also a huge open area in our room - you would think there would be a seating area there, but there was only one small chair. It was so empty the room echoed. The plug-ins were also inconvenient - I ended up carrying our coffee pot to the bathroom because it couldn't reach any plug-ins where it had been placed. Lastly, the continental breakfast left a LOT to be desired.My understanding is this hotel was recently renovated, and while the finishes are nice, I don't think the changes were sufficient. While the price was cheap, I would much rather pay a little more and stay somewhere nicer.
