Whether you're passing through or you're the lucky owner of a penthouse apartment in Delray's Pineapple Grove district, you've got to stop by Sloan's Ice Cream--it's kind of a must. We ordered ice-cream and took in all the fun wares, from fantasy socks to mountains of candy. Many of the products, including the ice cream, of course, are made by the business. The ice-cream was, to be sure, delicious: creamy, not to sweet, just the right balance of everything. Sloan's has three things going for itself: location (right in downtown Delray Beach), a pink and jolly store, and delicious homemade ice-cream. We had a very enjoyable visit, can't wait to come back!
