Delicious! We were blown away with the quality, large portions, and taste of everything. Me and my husband got one the the pizzas and finally felt we had found a delicious gourmet quality pizza! My daughter had the burger with potato soup. The burger was HUGE and the soup amazing. Also got to sample the homemade ranch---wow! Took some desserts home for later. Service was friendly and accommodating. As a Buncombe county native, this place is a gem worth the short drive to Marshall .

I work on Main Street and have been to Sweet Monkey many times. I've tried a wide variety of items from their menu. They have excellent food that's at a level and quality far above what you'd expect to find in little Marshall. Fresh ingredients, local when possible, large portion sizes, all delicious. Good beer and wine menu. The atmosphere is nice and they have screened in outdoor eating now. Kids are welcome and there's some toys to keep them occupied while you wait. Bathrooms are clean. Staff is always nice and attentive.The one caveat is that this is real food, made after you order it, and it's a small staff, so the wait times can be a little long. The food is well worth the wait, so just get a drink, grab a seat and hang out for a while. If you're in a rush, this is not the place.Highly recommended!

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The service was good. It took a little while for the entrees to arrive, but that is to be expected from a small place that makes everything to order from fresh ingredients. Loved it

Great food and lots of it on a hot summer day. We were inside, and there was no air conditioning, with an open Kitchen in the back. But the food and the iced tea kept us distracted from the heat. I had a crab cake which was tasty, on top of coleslaw and a large tomato slice. Good flavor with a very spicy/tangy sauce. A few of the people I was with had the house salad which was topped with bacon and shrimp. None of us had room left over for the in-house made desserts, unfortunately!

Great food in a funky space. We tried the crab cake, burger and the turkey sandwich for lunch. All totally on point. And the potato salad side has just a little kick from the whole grain mustard. They tell you right off the bat that it’s not fast food, so sit down, order a beer, and just relax. This is small town food taken to the next level.

Best FOOD EVER. OMG. Wish I lived closer just to eat here.The fire roasted tomato soup was amazingSpicy, Hot and FRESH HUGE chunks of tomatoes, fresh herbs and garlic. Nice after kick heat.The Marshall Crabby patty and the potato salad with crazy good mustard was the best my husband and I have EVER had. The fresh crisp outer layer and thick chunks of crab in the crab cake was to die for in their amazing homemade Sauce. All items made from scratch.
