After almost a year of taking our dog there sadly our usual groomer is no longer works there.... so the new groomer did not do a good job. Now If this was a haircut issue, I wouldn't care but this had to do with our dogs nail. From day one after grooming our 5 years old dog was hesitant to put pressure on her right pow and after a week and a half she was no longer walking on the pow. After 850 dollars at the vet we find out her digit was dislocated...our Vet indicated this could of been secondary to a nail not being cut correctly or possibly happened during the grooming. After calling the groomer to rectify the situation the store manager asks me for all the records and X Ray's and Bill's to refund me 65 dollars... my time is so much more valuable and I will never take my dog to this groomer again. Customers beware

DO NOT TRUST YOUR FUR CHILDREN WITH THIS SALON. We are locals in Solana Beach and decided to give Sydnee's a try as it is close to home and had decent reviews. Oh boy were we so wrong to do so. We brought our 4 month old puppy in for a bath and a TRIMMING around his paws and eyes. When we picked him up he had a cute bandana tied around his neck and the first thing we noticed was that the fur around his eyes was shaved down to the skin. Way more than the trim we asked for but hey it'll grow back and nothing to cause a scene over. When we get home and take his bandana off we realized that it was not put on him as a cute gesture/accessory but rather they used it to cover up a HUGE mistake. They had shaved an entire ring around his neck where the bandana was placed (please note that we brush him every single day and there was no matting whatsoever and they were told not to trim ANY part of his body). When we returned to the salon to voice our concerns they did not even listen to our entire scenario before denying that they had any involvement. On top of denying their mistake they accused us of NEGLECT. Saying we were to rough with our dog and most likely ripped the fur out ourselves with the collar. I have never been disrespected by a business more and am repulsed by how management treats their customers. Don't waste your time, money or breath on this salon. You'll come to regret it.

They squeezed me in, however they did a really poor job on my cocker spaniel. I ask that she be just bathed and shaved. They left many long spots. And the one on her muzzle is very noticeable.
