I drove almost one thousand miles round trip to take this course, but had no extra money. was going to stay in a camp ground but it was too expensive, so I slept in my car along the side of the road. When I began the remainder of the trip to the institute, I couldn't find the actual street so I called David and he said, "This isn't suppose to be that difficult, why are you making this difficult? this doesn't make sense, it isn't that difficult to find this place, what is wrong with you that you are making this so difficult? Something is wrong here." I was crushed, and hung up, then headed back home. I'm 73 years old, this was a long and expensive trip for me, and I couldn't believe how I was spoken to in such a harsh tone. No way would I give this man a dollar of my money, I don't care if he was Melton Erickson himself, this was over the top, bizarre. He was up one minute then grumpy the next.
