In 2002, The File Depot began operations in the small town of Slidell, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans.

A.G. Crowe, a successful small business owner and current state senator, and Rob Perry, a Certified Records Manager and 20-year owner of his own records management facility, teamed up to create The File Depot.
