My first call to TruGreen 2.5 years ago gave me an expectation and a hope of achieving a healthy lawn.
What would you change about the experience?
I would have done my due diligence in seeking neighbor's experiences with TruGreen before I signed up. I mistakenly trusted Mike, the salesman, that the lawn of the property I had purchased in March, 2017, could be recovered and made healthy again. He told me that it was not necessary for him, or their technician to preview my lawn to determine it's needs, yet on the TruGreen web page it specifically quotes: "Get a Custom Quote"; "every yard is different".
My lawn is no healthier than it was 3 years ago, yet Mike, the salesman, promised visible results within 6 months (I signed up in April, 2017 and he promised a much healthier lawn by fall, 2017). Subsequent communication with Mike, Sandy, Matt and Jack has been negligible. During most recent conversations with Matt (customer service/support?), and Jack (sales?), within the last 30 days, both promised calls back to me with suggestions on how I could improve my lawn. Never heard from them. Understanding that July & August are probably the most challenging in maintaining a healthy lawn in my area, My lawn is full of weeds (crabgrass and unwanted bermuda grass) and bare spots, yet when my lawn was aerated and seeded last week, I was given no suggestions on how to improve my lawn. (If a lawn technician services my lawn and has no suggestions....he's in the wrong business). I have logged a minimum of 15 calls to Customer service over the past 2 years with minimal desired results.
