Being a professional builder or remodeler for a living is kind of like being a doctoreveryone you meet is always looking for some advice.
At least thats what it felt like back in the 1980s as I established myself as a successful and respected home builder in the Kirkland, Washington area. Just like a doctor at a party might be asked for an impromptu joint pain diagnosisI was constantly being asked for recommendations on subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and building processes. And like most doctors in that situation, I was happy enough to help out as best I could.
Very bad experience , they will not stand behind the customer, I was told my house plans would be put out for bid , found out Not 1 sub saw my plans , all of the proposals I received in the worthless “book” they give you , none of the subs would honor or do the work for that price , I spent over 60 grand extra for my house , I complained to anyone that would listen at Ubuildit and the response was always the same , we can’t make our subs honor the prices on the proposals ,
