I should start at the beginning of my visit. I read online this was the "Best Breakfast in Town" so I naturally decided to come! Upon arriving, the front of house staff was not very eager in the slightest to take my order. I informed them it was my first time dining with them and the cashier did nothing to help me understand their menu or even greet me. She also looked like she just rolled out of bed. I ordered the Natural Born Killer and replaced the Nutella with the raspberry cream cheese (I'm not a fan of Nutella). I also asked for 2 eggs over medium. My husband ordered Just Chicken and Waffles with a black coffee. We came during peak time but everyone in the establishment had already received their food, so our order was the only one to make at the time we placed it. It still took 25 minutes, and much to my disappointment, my eggs came out over hard instead of over medium. The woman cooking made snide comments about how I wanted my eggs, even though I ordered them the exact way I like to enjoy them. She remade them and the second time I received them, they were correctly made. My husband's black coffee was burnt and he decided to just drink water instead, even though it was during a busy time and should have been decently fresh. His chicken and waffles were "the second best he has had" and enjoyed them very much but had to ask for syrup after receiving them because he wasn't given syrup with them. My waffle was amazing and nothing but good things to say about it. Bad staff, good food, but won't go out of my way to come back because the staff themselves left a bad taste in my mouth. If you don't care how the staff presents themselves and how the treat the paying customer, you may enjoy their food very much!
