Feedback:

AAMCO is an exciting company to work for right now. It's great to be a part of the big new opportunities that we are pursuing. Employees that are committed to the company's success are challenged and developed.

Feedback:

I paid for a transmission so I could have nation wide coverage warranty as I travel for work. I paid for the transmission in KS. Now in IL. and transmission is junk. Aamco here had to call KS for permission to work on it!! Then, of course, there is "nothing wrong with it". Even after taking a "mechanic" with me and showing him how bad it is broke!! The "mechanic" told me in the truck that it's broke. Back at the shop, of course, there's nothing wrong with it. I'm gonna tell everyone that'll listen, Don't have so much as an oil change with this company! I wouldn't trust them with a tricycle! I wouldn't pee on these people if they were on fire. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS, they would rate MINUS 5!

Feedback:

There actually may be something we can do. I am taking them to court. After being charged $3000..00 and not even receiving the repair. Then talking for warranty work for a repair that never happened. My vehicle has been to 4 Aamco locations in the last 3 month's. I have not had my vehicle in some time.Mr. Michael J. Pekula, Director of Customer RelationsCharlene WolstenholmeConsumer Support RepresentativeAre the local Aamco corporate contacts that have openly lied over and over and promised my repair that has not happened.Stay posted for update on my case.

Feedback:

I took my 2003 Chevy Silverado to the AAMCO in Colmar, PA in February of 2017 because my transmission went. I spent $2700 to have it completely rebuilt. It still never ran right after they rebuilt it, it would not pick up speed, I was lucky to do 40-45mph uphill, and it would make a jerking motion all the time. I took it back and let them know it wasn't right, but they insisted everything was done correctly. I even gave them more business that spring when we had an issue with our Acura, and spent another $2500 with their company. It is now 2 1/5 years after having a brand new transmission put in and it just went again. The basic warranty was only for 18 months, I didn't get an extended warranty, I trusted the work that this company did, and the mechanic assured me they stand behind their work as well. Apparently their work is only good for 2 1/5 years, and since I am out of the warranty period there is nothing to be done. I understand that I am out of the warranty, but I think it is ridiculous that I spent that much on a transmission that went again after only 2 1/5 years. The Colmar location has since shut down, no doubt because they were doing such a horrible job on customer's vehicles, I absolutely regret not getting a second opinion when I was still in the warranty. My advice would be to not do any business with AAMCO, they will charge you a fortune for something just to have it breakdown again 2 years later. I may not be able to do anything about my situation with them, but I can at least warn others to stay away and go with a different company.

Feedback:

Because Aamco is franchised, there is little that can be done to establish responsibility for problems. No body seems to care what hardships or monetary cost the customer faces due to their mistakes. My truck received a new, re-built, transmission and was out of commission for 20 days while I had to deal with mistakes and broken, used parts that the shop received from its supplier. I was out of work for almost a whole month and spent hundreds of dollars that I did not plan to spend and should not have had to spend if Aamco did not screw up. No body offered any apology or any compensation, except for the technician who worked on the truck. So far, nothing. Think twice about using Aamco.

Feedback:

They deserve the worst negative review. They are supposed to be the corporate center that looks over the other franchises, the manager of customer service named Mike even admits he has NOTHING to do with the other franchises. After only speaking to him for a minute and a half he began yelling at me saying he was not responsible for how that specific AAMCO treated me. I have been ripped off $2,654 and still do not have a car that is running normally! I would never recommend anyone go to this company. They are only concerned about how much money they can get from you and nothing else, and the manager himself made that pretty clear today. Please dont ever take your car to one of these places.
