Unacceptable Customer Experience

Hired For: Automotive Franchises in 2020

What was the best part of the experience?

Staff at All Tune and Lube, Douglasville, GA location was initially cordial and friendly, and communicated well. After failing in 11 days to repair my vehicle, and giving up on attempts, the manager's demeanor became curt and rude.

What would you change about the experience?

A) Refund of the $291.20 ransom paid to release my car. B) Payment for necessary repairs to the ABS/brake system. C) Clean-up and removal of refrigerant oil and residue from engine compartment. D) Clean-up and removal of grease, filth, dirt, slime, grime and greasy hand prints, and other oily and dirty shop residue, from my car’s interior and exterior, including the steering wheel. E) Clean greasy hand prints from R/F tire. F) Replace scraped and gouged sill molding inside driver’s door opening. G) Replace the two missing, under hood A/C service port caps. H) All costs above the original $950.00 quote from your shop to repair my car, since I must now have the A/C system repaired elsewhere, by a competent shop. The cost will likely include added expenses to undo the incompetence of your shop.

Overall Feedback:

I would never recommend this shop for any repair, even a simple oil change. My car was left filthy, with greasy, grimy, slimy and dirty shop grunge and hand prints: inside, outside, in the engine compartment and even on the steering wheel. My car is always in immaculate condition, and had been fully detailed, inside and outside, before leaving it with this shop. This shop’s prices were 79.2% higher than the competition. And yet other issues: 1) The ABS brake system light is now illuminated, 2) The A/C charging port caps are missing, and 3) The engine squeals upon startup. None of these situations existed before leaving my car at this business.
