Feedback:

Avoid this supplier they'll be happy to take your money and the not fix any issues you have with their product

Feedback:

We had a horrible time with APEX. They delivered the windows on the back of a pick-up truck (unprofessional delivery and exposed expensive windows to travel elements during transport), they got lead-based paint all over the carpets and floors and didn't take any precautionary measures to prevent dust and chips from getting everywhere and didn't clean-up even though they said they conformed to EPA regs and standards (hmmm), consistently brought damaged windows to the house for installation and did not examine them prior to or after installation (owners caught the deformities), customer service communication was horrible as they would not return calls and would only discuss problems via email, window selling agent over-promised and under delivered (no thermal imaging was performed as promised and he was not there for final walk-through as promised), installers dropped windows on the ground during installation and were helped by non-APEX contractors working on the house next door and APEX still installed the dropped damaged windows, took three separate occasions to install, replace, and replace again the windows which required us taking time off from work and moving furniture, installers pried the old sashes out causing significant damage to the exterior window trim, and who knows whatever else that I didn't catch. Our Swiss handyman who brings a lot of attention to detail in his work came to the house after the APEX installation and immediately started to comment on the shoddiness of the installation. I had to ask him to stop commenting as he was only examining the first window, and I didn't want to hear his observations and findings on the next 15 windows.

Feedback:

Everyone was so nice. The installers were efficient, clean and did a fantastic job! We have had the new windows for about 8 months and are very satisfied with the them! We get complements on the windows all the time!

Feedback:

As another reviewer wrote, the company is soliciting very aggressively. Told me that only my house and another were selected for a special opportunity. Sales guy asked if I had trouble with my old windows and I told him no thanks, they are in good shape. He then proceeded to look shocked and tell me he can't believe I think my windows are fine. "I can see wood rot from here," he said. He proceeded to keep telling me how my windows could not possibly be in fine shape. I told him clearly, but not angry, that if his sales pitch is to insult my home, than please leave, you are not getting a sale from me. "But I have a limited opportunity for you," he says again. After finally getting him to leave, he very passive-aggressively turns around and says, "Well best of luck with you windows" ( yes it had a tone. He wasn't just being friendly). They may have a decent product, but I will never know.

Great company and products!

Feedback:

We've spent the last year or so having different window companies come to our house and quote new windows. Each time, the quote seemed way out of our budget, so we determined that new windows weren't happening for us any time soon. Then a rep. from APEX came to the door in Oct.and convinced us to get ANOTHER window quote. I was not even REMOTELY interested in listening to a 3 hour sales pitch on windows again, but we set an appt. up. Alaina Antunes came to our house and was super friendly, informative, and brief. She explained the benefits, etc.. and then showed us the quote. Her quote came in at almost $20,000 LESS than the other 3 companies. I was still hesitant; something had to be wrong with her numbers. Against my better judgement we agreed to getting our windows replaced. 8 weeks later, we were all set to have the windows installed. Although I didn't need to be home for the install, I took the day off of work to be there because I just felt that something was going to go wrong. The crew showed up at 8:30 am and finished replacing all 17 windows by 4 pm without any issues. Alex and his crew picked up and vacuumed all the debris left from the old windows, And right after the install, my house was immediately quiet with the new windows installed-it was almost eerie! It's been about 2 weeks now, and my new windows are wonderful! No cold drafts like before, and not much noise at all from our busy street and loud neighbors. I'm pleasantly surprised and so happy that we decided to get our windows from APEX! No regrets!

Feedback:

I did not buy the product because it was one of those sales pitches where I was asked to sign on the dotted line immediately to receive the "promotional home" rate (RED FLAG!), but I do want others to know that the sales team compares Apex vinyl windows to Pella and Anderson and the Insignia is not even in the same league. The Apex Insignia window is manufactured by Alside, not a top performer in the industry as far as windows go. With that said, the Insignia is still quite good, though I would caution against paying too much for the product. Just get a few bids from other manufacturers and do not be pressured to sign immediately to receive any sort of "deal." It's too bad, because I did like the windows and features, I just don't appreciate being sold to in the way that Apex operates. I'm in the marketing industry and the sales pitch was just too over-the-top, red flag for me. Pricing the Insignia out initially at the cost of Anderson or Pella and then knocking the price down for the "promo" offer.

QUALITY!!!

Feedback:

Sales person visited multiple times. We hadn't answered in the past. Tonight we did and he would not leave, insisting he wasn't visiting to sell anything. Instead "selecting two homes for an upcoming project." Renewal by Anderson is already working with us. Even that didn't get him to leave.

Feedback:

I had the same experience others have had with pushy/rude salesman saying they had a special offer for 2 homes in my neighborhood. When I declined the "salesman" Dan just shook his head and said "best of luck with your old windows"! Again I don't know how their products are but I know the sales and marketing approach are not great.
