Totally ridiculous to have to give 6 months written notice to cancel. Do the math, .... you can buy water for a lot cheaper!!! I do not recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Been with them for 18 years and we no longer need the service. They told us that, you must notify 6 months prior to cancellation? That is absurd. They are based out of Canada and must use US contractors. STAY AWAY!

City water international, I agree with the all the 1 star ratings, I wish I could give them 0000 stars. They are worse to deal. Even if you have given written notice of six months, they still charge you $350.00! dont understand why they fleece the customers.Please do not go with this company, unless you want have a heart attack. They STRESS YOU TO THE CORE. THE HARASSMENT FROM THE MANAGEMENT IS UNBELIEVABLE. Currently we are going through tremendous stress because inspite of following the procedures to end the contract they still charge. They have only one answer You have signed the contract! Bottom line do not go with this company.

Stay away from this company they will try to lock you in for contract and when you want to cancel they require 6months notice otherwise they renew you for another year. Very dishonest business. Shady practice. Beware.

If we could give this company -5 stars- We would! We love supporting Canadian Businesses and we were happy to sign up with them to get the water filter. We regretted this decision too many times ever since! Please be wary what you sign! If you want to cancel this account- you need to MAIL THEM A LETTER 7 months ahead otherwise they keep renewing your contract on two, three or more years automatically - and once they do, you cannot get out of this contract for the time being. Well, we canceled- but they are still to pickup the machine- and getting a hold of someone to clarify this has been hell! Stay away, this is a scamming company! Not to mention, they do not service the device as promised, the water has a weird taste to it, and the customer service is plainly awful! They hang up phones, snap at customers and laugh at your complaints- clearly people that are used to dealing with scamming clients.

Alberta H company has been a long term (ten years) customer of City Water International. On Feb 1, 2017 a water cooler that city water owns and maintains had a leak and flooded the entire top floor and the main floor washrooms and offices of our car dealership. The leak occurred overnight on a Friday. The next day we had a crew start cleanup. City Water International sent out their maintenance personal to assess damage They determined that a fitting on their water cooler caused the leak that flooded the dealership.Today, City Water International has used a clause in our agreement to claim that they have no legal obligation for any damages caused by equipment that they supply. Incidentally, the cooler was an old one that they did not upgraded according to the maintenance people .CITY WATER INTERNATIONAL’S WATER COOLER THAT CITY WATER MAINTAINS, GUARANTEES, AND OWNS has created over $10 000.00 in damages to Alberta Honda!! They now use a lawyer to communicate with us, not a company representative! They also tell us that if we stop paying our monthly bill they will start legal action to collect!! It would seem to me that this shows how they like to do business. I have read all of the reviews for City Water. They NOW - MAY 5 2017 - have threatened to SUE out dealership for our goggle review rather than help . MAY 12 2017 City water maintenance crew were surprised to find out that the company is not helping out with the repair of our dealership. They have informed us that the faulty part on the water cooler that damaged our work place was send to the company directly.
