Avoid.PSW for my independent elderly mother.High turnover of workers. Given allocated hours, inconsistent check in and check out process at home. Some valuable minutes lost. Poor communication on - lines of authority - - management accountability - and who are right contacts.Contacts difficult to reach. Re-organizing at the same time. Complaints to their CCAC 'masters'.We complained several times to CCAC.CCAC indicated that we are the fifth complaint about this firm. They documented this and referred it to their service level contracts group. So at contract renewal, unlikely they will be contracted again.

When my father was in the hospital we chose Comfort Keepers personal support workers to assist in his hospital stay. They were efficient, thoughtful and helpful. We knew he was well cared for. They were great from the minute we first called them. They did a thorough intake and matched my father with a perfect caregiver. I really liked that I could reach someone in the office day or night, It was a worry free process.

Comfort Keepers was incredible to work with when I started services for my grandmother. The staff were extremely helpful and throughly explained everything to know about their caregiving services. For someone who has never had experience in this industry, it was very useful to be explained the differences between Personal Support Workers, Registered Practicing Nurses, etc. After having a FREE in-home assessment done, my grandmother was provided with a caregiver that met all of her needs and they got along wonderfully. The company was extremely compassionate, and flexible to work with. Paula was wonderful to speak to when it came to scheduling for my grandmother, and Stacey was extremely knowledgable and caring when speaking to my grandmother about all her needs. Thanks to Comfort Keepers, my grandmother was able to happily stay at home (rather than moving into a retirement home), while staying safe and comfortable at the same time!

As a child of a 91 year old widow, I worry about the care and safety of my mother. My mom is independent, but we wanted to ensure that she got the right amount of care to alleviate any worry we had - Comfort Keepers fit the billFrom the first inquiry, my concerns were listened to and addressed. They found the perfect care giver to assist my mother - while still allowing her to retain her independence. From the office staff to the caregiver, there was never a moment of concern. They were efficient, honest, caring and totally trustworthy.While I wish I could be there every minute for my mom, it is nice to know that I needn't worry - Comfort Keepers provided me with the security I required and my mother with the gentle care that she needed.You have a repeat customer in me - nice to know that when the need arises, the solution is simply a phone call away.Thank you so much!
