Feedback:

Fantastic Staff and Beautiful Location. My Best Friends Daughter was married here. Was an Awesome place!

Feedback:

The venue is surrounded by our beautiful mountains! The staff went out of their way to make this a memorable experience for my daughter's wedding. Dudley the wedding planner was fabulous!

Feedback:

This was the perfect place to have my Colorado wedding. They have a couple different locations and I used their Lookout Mountain spot. The ceremony was held just outside at their gazebo, then dinner and dancing inside. You get a nice mix of mountain views and Denver (once the sun goes down you have an amazing view of the city lights from the dance floor). They do EVERYTHING here which is exactly what I was looking for. They do the food, DJ, alcohol, no cake cutting fee, and no required wedding planner. All I had to worry about was the cake, flowers, and any extra decorations which I didn’t even bother with because what they had was already nice. I worked mostly with Bob and he was amazing! I was never stressed while planning my wedding and he really brought it all together and made it really fun the day of. He even found a way to make all the awkward pictures you have to take more fun. We had the place until 1am and a good chunk of my guests kept dancing until the very end including myself and the groom. All their staff was really amazing as well, if you need something all you have to do is ask. I got a ton of compliments about the bar tender. I would highly recommend this place for a wedding if you want your guests to have a great time.

Great view of Denver

Feedback:

You can find waay better venues for the money. Try "The Pines at Genesee" for the same price you get great food instead of cafeteria level buffet food, incredible setting with a better view, the place is 5x the size, its newer and the place is all around cleaner and nicer. Not to mention the ceremony sites (yes there are two!) are breathtaking! The crystal rose would not let us taste the food until 90 days before our wedding and once we tasted the food there was no way we would serve that slop to our guests. We told them that day that we were un-happy with the food and the vibe and wanted to cancel, they refused to refund any of our deposit. The Pines at Genesee wanted us to taste thier incredible food before we made a deposit because they are proud of what they serve. Any place that requires you to make a deposit that is non refundable until after you try the food or service is in poor taste and not the industry standard. The Crystal Rose is best suited for a soccer banquet but not a wedding. Please there are too many other options in the area with better views, food and service.

Feedback:

It's very Colorado. Down to earth and very simple. With that first impression we walked in and out to the back where the wedding was going to be held. It's about a 20 minute drive from Lakewood. The view in the back is probably the reason why couples choose this location. But to have access to the view you have to actively look for it. It's mostly covered by the neighbors big trees. Parking is in front which is limited and the side of the road for about 10-12 cars. You can't park anywhere else or you will be towed. The inside of the venue is not that big although it's not tiny either. Two things to consider if you're thinking about using this venue. It's old. So they have a wall AC that blows arctic air in one direction. Mine. So someone will be me in your reception and she will not be able to take it. I felt like I was in a meat locker. Second thing to consider: the uneven floors. A few people almost fell flat on their faces. Dark wood floors that's uneven+Heels? Comedy or dark comedy? Your imagination will work an O.T on what could potentially happen here. It's dark inside as well. Although there's a bar that can fix that. I'm not impressed and not a fan at all.

Very nice place for intimate wedding reception

Careful with Crystal Rose. 3 years ago I booked my wedding for Sept. 18th at their Highlands Ranch location.I booked just over a year in advance. I had gone there a few times with family to look at the place. In May (4 months before the wedding) my maid of honor flew in town to see my venue. We did dress shopping and lunch, then drove to see it. When we got there, it was closed. We peeked through the windows just so I could show her the place. THE FLOORS WERE RIPPED UP! THE CEILING WAS TORN APART WITH WIRES HANGING. THE PLACE LOOKED LIKE HOMELESS PEOPLE BROKE IN AND TORE IT UP! I called to see what the heck was happening. I was told to drive down to Robins Nest so we could talk. So, my fiancé and I drove there. I was shown 2 other facilities they had there in Golden. They told me they were sorry, but would book one of those locations at a huge discount. THE ONLY SET BACK WAS THAT “I NEEDED TO CHANGE MY WEDDING DATE!!!!!” My invites were printed, I had people flying from Chicago and Spain, and now I have no venue and they are asking me to change the DATE!! Not to mention I had already paid all of my amount in full at this time! I WAS LIVID! I just cried and cried. So 4 months before my wedding I had no venue because of them. They did refund me. They also paid to reprint my invites. However, I was stuck shopping for a new venue at a popular time of year.Tread carefully!

My clients said they had a fantastic experience on all fronts. The location is amazing - only if you like wide, clear, overlooks of Denver while breathing beautiful clean air... So if your from LA or New Jersey you should probably stay far away - from Colorado in general.

Feedback:

Would not recommend this place. The staff was rude. The food was good but the service and timing of the food was terrible. The food was served 3 hours after the ceremony. This place is not well equipped to handle 100+ people there is only one bathroom with 2 stalls. The dance floor is tiny and if you have to have more than 100 guests the tables have to be moved in order to create a dance space area. I pictured the outdoor ceremony area to be more prettier and bigger than what it was. This place reminds me of an old bar or about the size of a cabin like house with a small backyard. The only 2 things I liked was the view of denver and the food, other than that this place would only be suitable for about 30 people or below. I hope others have more luck if they choose to get married here. I could see how it could be a beautiful place to get married at, but that's only with the proper staff and friendly service. The bathrooms also had cobwebs all over it. We also saw the staff carrying trash out in the middle of the walkway through the kitchen and through the tables.
