Client Review on Electronic Restoration Services, Inc.

Feedback:

Update: Jan/2018Called me in regards to a garage fire. Asked for the wrong person. They wanted all of our electronics, which were not affected by the fire. They knew information about the case and the insurance adjuster's name, but after contracting our insurance adjuster they had never contacted them, but worked with them in the past. Finally after a month or two our insurance adjuster said that this company was to pick up our electronics. They were to come in and only do certain rooms. They came with the thought that we would allow them to take everything in the house, even items that weren't electronic--go figure. After calling the insurance company to tell them that they wanted to take everything including non electronic items the crew went to work removing what the insurance told them to remove in the first place. The crew was quick to remove everything, in a bad way. No one informed us they would be going into our basement. Just heard wrenching and found someone down there. The worker legit thought it would be a good idea to catch water with a brand new bottled water bottle. He cracked it open to pour out the water with a bucket not even 6 inches away. Glad I had a brain and told him to use a bucket. Come on.The crew were eager to take anything remotely electronic, even if it was already broken. They just want to get their money for "cleaning".Upon getting the receipt for cleaning they over charged on every single item. We bought a TV for $100. They charge $128 to clean the TV, even putting fake "damaged" notes with it. That's not the best part. They charged $8 more dollars to clean the remote for the TV. Remember how I said we only paid $100 brand new? What a rip off. They also charged to move items and didn't moved them back. Great stuff. I ended up moving the item with a friend. We finally got our items back, but not after them calling me. I told them many times to remove me from their call list, but they won't listen. I live with the person who has the insurance, but cannot make calls for said person. However, they'll disregard you on that and keep calling like the scam company they are. All items seem to work, however they weren't broken to begin with. There are one or two items that seems to be broken over being moved. Items are more likely to break after being moved than anything else. In total, the "cleaned items" are more beat up now than after the fire happened. Highly not impressed. However, I am impressed that they know how to use Windex and a paper towel. Glad they charged the insurance company hundreds of dollars for that expertise. In total, stay away from this company. If something is damaged contact your insurance adjustor. These guys are a PAIN to work with and as trustworthy as the foreign telemarketers calling to tell you that your Windows computer has a virus.
