In spite of the negative reviews here, we've had a very positive experience with Fit Kids. Our son has done many of their programs, including guitar, art, weird science, basketball, etc, and while some have been better than others, all have been quite enjoyable for our son and some have been truly exceptional.

They canceled the Volleyball class I had signed up my daughter for and told me my payment would be refunded. I am now in my fourth month of trying to get my money back and he is not responding to my texts. I suspect this is a scam where they collect people's money and cancel classes that don't fill up. Then they conveniently forget to process the refund and most people don't have the time or forget to make sure they actually receive their refund. I gave Tony numerous chances to make this right but all I've gotten is the run around. Do not give them your money ahead of time!!!!

My son has taken kickball through this after school enrichment program. They are well organized. Instructors are top notch. We look forward to next session.

Parents, BEWARE!!!My daughter just mentioned today (03/21/2018) that she wanted to do the cheerleading class offered by Fit Kids America. I read about the program and finally decided that cheerleading would be a nice activity for my daughter to do after school. Well, the first thing I noticed is that their Release Waiver asks that we “the parents” release and hold harmless Fit Kids America and basically any of its employees from any and all liability for injury to our children, INCLUDING the NEGLIGENCE of the employees. Come again? The Release Waiver that blatantly stated NEGLIGENCE is OK, (seriously?) pretty much made the desicion for me. This says a lot to me about the people running these programs. I understand we live in a “sue happy” country but negligence should never be something that we have to accept.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but this time I really need to tell the truth and warn some parents out there and share my disappointment and disgust. This organization is a scam. They are dishonest and of not good quality at all. I paid for two kids( my kindergarten son and his little brother) to take soccer classes after school.( Besides the fact that they have young high school kids teaching classes, not even real professional instructors!) Anyway We did not like the class -which is our right as consumers- and after only 1 class we decided not to go on anymore.Well as any professional ,serious business out there would do , I would have expected that They offered us a complete refund. Not at all! Not refund. Tony , the manager ,pretended to be helpful by offering us another class within their organization. But after seeing the poor quality of their classes i absolutely did not want any other class from them. Well then "sorry but not sorry" "If we let every 5 years old change their mind cause they don't like something we would have to refund so many" Tony even dared to say. Oh really?! Oh well, 5 years old ( and their parents) have the right to try a service or class and decide if they like it or not! Any serious business would let them do that. Believe me I take swimming lessons at Floats East Lake, Martial Art at Pride Martial Arts East Lake, Ice skating at The Kroc Center Arena, Yoga fir kids at Hapa Studio ..etc.. This to say that I deal with lots of kids schools and instructors and I have no problem to pay when the service is good and the school serious and honest! But Fit Kids America ( Chula Vista Olympic view elementary) is not honest and serious business since they refuse to refund people after only 1 class! And it is a very poor quality service! Oh and manager Tony even said he never had complaining from anyone.. I was the only one. Well Moms talk .. a lot. After asking around I heard this: " I didn't complain cause I knew they wouldn't refund me anything so my kid finished his class but I never sign up for anything else with them anymore."Well you can fool somebody once ( and steal their money!) but we,Moms,, talk and spread the voice when something is good as well as when something is bad!

Not very flexible, if you would like to switch to a different class because your kids don't like it. They already have your money, so they could care less about customer service.

I still have not received my refund from a course that was cancelled and Tony went back on his word to enroll my son in another program. what a disappointment.
