-2 stars for a disastrous prescription-2 stars for a nonexistent follow up.I chose to see Dr. Moses Laufer for low strength/endurance/weight and a varying sense of well-being and mental clarity. I took some blood tests, came back a month later, and he prescribed some T3 (liothyronine). I took the smallest dose for four days. The drug made me feel as if I was dying. It took me several weeks of blood pressure-reducing herbal supplements to feel close to normal again. It may have caused permanent damage to my heart. It will definitely take a while more to regain my endurance. My new cardiologist said thyroid hormones are potentially very dangerous and definitely did not recommend them.It has been over a month since I stopped taking the drugs and began attempting to contact the doctor. I have emailed and called his assistant several times. She told me a couple times on the phone that the doctor would call me back.
