Feedback:
First time ever, had seafood gumbo, very good.
Feedback:
It was a good food with rice and variety of chicken, would have loved if some fried vegetables were also added to the menu... bit costly but overall good
Feedback:
Great bourbon chicken. It's sweet and has awesome flavors. Can't decide whether I love their drunken chicken or the place in grandview more. Both are great. Pro tip... Use the bumble bee as a warm slightly sweet salsa like condiment. They will half and half the entree' if you request.
Feedback:
First Timer, Got the Vodoo dish. It was good but, it gets hotter as you continue to eat it. Wasn't able to finish the bowl!Dining area was very clean.

Feedback:
The restaurant is well-kept and the staff are kind. It was kind of empty when we went in to order, and when we ordered we found out that you're served lunchroom-style where you pick your gumbo and rice and pay at the end of the counter. There is a menu available above that offers more traditional items, but we were being sold on the counter service so we tried that. The gumbo wasn't very tasty and the options were fairly limited (only 4 kinds, 2 spicy, 2 sweet). The spicy options aren't that spicy, and the sweet options are FAR too sweet. Over all, there isn't much real flavor or texture to the food, which was disappointing. I've been to 2 other J Gumbo's and they had a wider selection of menu items, more fair prices, and more tasty food.Unfortunately, I don't think I will be back to this location any time soon.ADDING ADDITIONAL TO REPLY TO OWNER:Yes, I was at the Gahanna location. As per my review, I mentioned "There is a menu above that offers more... but we were being sold on the counter service so we tried that". Because this was a unique experience to what were were used to at the other J Gumbo's we've been to, we wanted to try something different. We visited around midday and were told to try the 4 specialty gumbos being served on the counter. We tried them, and were just not impressed by the flavor of any of the 4 gumbos. I will also add that the Texas toast we were served was crushed and not toasted.
Feedback:
The service was really good! Super friendly and even gave input on what they like! You can try samples of different things before choosing what you want. I got the tacos and they were great! Food is reasonably priced and would definitely go baco
Feedback:
Friendly staff food used to be better I don't know if they have new kitchen staff but I found bones in my chicken gumbo.
Feedback:
I had J. Gumbo's for the first time in Colorado and it was AMAZING. So having it again, my expectations were high. I was sadly disappointed. Two out of the three entrees we purchased were not eaten and the third dish was okay at best.
Feedback:
