The bagels are OK, but the service is absolutely horrible. I was greeted by this nonchalant cashier chewing gum. He needed to be reminded 3 times about my order. The kitchen staff is disorganized and scattered. A customer asked the staff for something (I didn't hear what) and was told "we are too busy". Don't let the line up fool you, it's just because they are slow as molasses. I waited 20 minutes for them to throw microwaved egg and bacon on an already made bagel. And then, they were giving me a hard time because I didn't have an order number (I was never given one!) Ugh...Save the frustration and just go to the Kettlemans at college square!

My wife and I came here for a couple of dates early in our relationship. Good times, nice atmosphere, friendly service.Not living in the Ottawa area anymore, but planning a return visit next time we are in the city!(Married 5 years, end of this month.)

It's an alright place. Wasn't impressed by the club sandwich at all. Also, it's pretty sad they didn't change the Kettlemans menu at all, just washed the Kettle and put Cad. The bagels are also lacking flavor. There doesn't seem to be any salt in the bagels which it needs to bring out and give flavour. They also didn't bother adding salt and pepper to my egg in the breakfast sandwich. They also charge more then Kettlemans and have poorer food and services. Not really a fan of that.

Been there a few times for the breakfast combo ( coffee, breakfast bagel and some sort of hashbrown) , its usually decent for the price 7$ ish...until my last visit. I asked for my bagel to be well done since its usually not very toasted. Seems the guy didn't understand so i repeated myself to make sure he understood and he acknowledged like he knew what he was doing. I get my order, no sign of any toaster and the bagel tasted very dry not fresh... the guy that took my order really didnt care. Poor service don’t spend your money there.

Had some doofus come out and try to act tough because I tossed my bottle of water into their exterior garbage can. I never thought you could preemptively lose a customer but here we are.

Went there today and their board said one price and i was overcharged for my food. When i complained they said that's the price
