Feedback:

My experience with Chris H. from Key renters was nothing less than Amazing! Words can’t express his generosity to us. He truly made the whole process painless, and went the extra mile to help with our whole transition. Always attentive and ready to help answer any questions! We couldn’t be more grateful to find someone like him! Thank you!

Feedback:

Julian with keyrenter was most helpful. He was efficient and sloved the issue. Proffessional and kind.

My husband and I are so grateful for the experience we had working with Scott Nagle on the purchase of our new home. Currently, Salt Lake City is a tough market, and Scott was so patient and helpful as we carefully considered several different homes. What we especially appreciate about Scott is that he is the type of real estate agent who is gifted in being able to offer needed information about a property without being at all obtrusive. He was very considerate of what we were hoping for in a property, and he worked literally night and day to help us find just what we were looking for! We felt comfortable to ask him any question as they came up, and Scott always answered in a very timely manner. My husband and I both strongly recommend Scott Nagle for your real estate agent. You can rest assured that you will have a delightful and successful experience when you work with him in finding or selling your new home!

OMG!!! Worst company ever!!!! From the first day til my last day Ryland don't let us in her office only asking us what we need from the lobby let us go. She's seems so unprofessional. She made me go back and forth to do all the housing papers like in two weeksThis is so waisting my time. Never had this experience before. They usually run your application first before they continue the process on the housing authority. I can tell how she approached us she don't she prolly one of those don't like color. She always made us leave the office.

Jose Santaella was fantastic! Once we found the place we wanted (and we looked at alot of places... Not keyrenter places however) we immediately applied and Jose almost immediately replied. We were anxious and I think he could tell because he even replied that he received documents he needed, on a Saturday! Applied on a Friday and approved on a Monday! I do not know how you could be better. Jose, thank you so much for your sense of urgency and getting us going and into the house we fell in love with. We haven't moved in yet but if keyrenter is as good as Jose, then I am excited to have them as our management company. Thanks Jose

Feedback:

We rented through Key Renters for 3 years, during that 3 years we had a difficult time getting items properly fixed in a timely manner and once we moved out it has been a joke trying to get our deposit back. If I wrote everything down, this would be one long complaint. So, I will spare you all with that and jump to the point of us finally moving out of this home. Over the course of 3 years we had minor damage to the home, for example paint chipping on the wall, carpet with some stains, nail/tac holes in the walls, but nothing major. The only major issue we had were the doors. The doors where awful. In 2 of the bathrooms the doors were set to open in on one another and you would bang them with the door handles and eventually the door handles went through the doors. In certain rooms the doors were not fitted correctly, and it was very difficult to shut the doors. My wife and I put our hands through the doors a few times. If you pushed on the door in the wrong place, you hand would go through it. When our hand went through the door the first time, we found cardboard strips on the inside of the doors. I mean, they were that bad and very flimsy. My wife and I already knew that we would have to replace the doors because Key Renters wouldn't own up to putting crappy doors into a home or that the doors weren't set right. So, upon moving out we purchased 10 doors. We place 2 doors on but did not have time to do the rest. We notified Key Renters that we purchased the doors but did not place them on because we felt that it would be best for the vendor to do it. The doors were ¼ inch wider then the original doors and just needed to be shaved down. After a few weeks of not receiving our deposit we reached out to Key Renters. We didn't hear anything, again we reached out to them and finally got an answer back. We were given an invoice that the doors cost $192 per door for 8 doors and that the vendor had to do custom made doors. My wife fired backed and asked why they didn't let us know so we could take the doors back. We then received an email back saying that the doors were not custom made but had to be shaved down and re-milled and that cost $192. Well, I didn't by it. I forwarded the correspondences on to an attorney and had him look it over. Nothing about what Ryland Sloat was telling us made sense. We asked Ryland for the number of the vendor because we did not trust doing a conference call, they could easily have someone posing as the vendor. My wife and I contacted multiple vendors, door repair shops, and even other property management companies and each on told us that they are lying to us because that is how much it costs for a custom-made door. I do not believe Key Renters currently. The ironic thing about all of this, is the property management company we are renting from now came and did a quality check on the Key renter's home. They too saw how poorly made the doors where and that Key Renters did not make any sense when they called to get our rental history. Key Renters lies and steals to get what they want. They took all our deposit and nickeled and dimed us. They did not look over our move in sheet to see how bad the home was when we moved in. I mean we got nailed for toilet seats that were nasty and gross when we moved in, we got nailed for the oven burners and covers when they where the originals on when we moved in. The list goes. We took pictures of us moving in and moving out and I am glad we did. I hope whomever rents through this company thinks again and for landlords be careful they do not put quality items in your home. I would never want them to be over one of my properties.

Feedback:

It has been a great experience working with Keyrenter. We relocated from FL. We were unable to see the house in person before we moved but all the pictures they provided of the home made us feel confident with our rental choice. We were able to apply online and pay online which is very convenient for people who can't be there in person to apply for a rental home. Kristin and Jose were always quick to reply to our emails. The application process was easy and quick!

Feedback:

With current experiences with Keyrenter SLC, I’ve found that they are quick to respond when it comes to having you sign new contracts and collecting money. When it comes to repairs/maintenance that is on the least of there worries. On 4/28/2018 we’ve submitted a request to have our AC Unit looked at as it doesn’t move any air in the upstairs of the house, making it uncomfortable at nights. To this day, we’ve still not seen or heard any updates, even emailed the individual that’s responsible for our rental on 5/7/2018 and no response. I’ve worked with multiple rental companies and noticed that repairs are not a strong point. I understand that things have to get approved by the landlord as well, per contract/rental agreement it does state that those repairs are the home owners responsibility.

Feedback:

Keyrenter has managed my rental property for over five years. They have done a fantastic job. They are so quick to take care of any issues, and have such a great staff. Cathy has been awesome to work with! I have always been able to communicate with them quickly and effectively!
