Life maid simple frankly does not even deserve 1 star. I set up this cleaning service to clean my fathers house every other week while I was away at school. We have had cleaning people my entire life, and while I have high standards the house is small. They cleaned the house for about three months and when I came home I could badly tell it had been touched. But the final cherry on the cake was when two of her employees broke a massive mirror in my living room while I was home. They tried to blame it on my dog (impossible it was on a mantle), the wind, faulty mounting (it hasn't moved for 16 years) anything but taking ownership. At the end of the encounter I had to ask the two woman to leave, while one stood in front of my house screaming at me and my boyfriend to go "f*** myself" while getting into their marked Life Maid Simple car. Not only was this appalling and outrageous it also upset my neighbors. The same woman screaming on the street kept antagonizing me to come "fight" her. Initially Kate handled this well, sending flowers and chocolates and apologizing. However, when it came time to pay the agreed upon damages of $350 Kate did no such thing. Instead, she wanted to see if her "husband the handyman" could fix my mirror and candlesticks. This offer came a month after saying she would send a check promptly. I lowered the price $100 dollars not wanting to fuss with it anymore and she sent me a check for $250. Overall, this company cleans horribly, is rude and clearly mismanaged and underfunded. Don't use life maid simple, you're better off cleaning it yourself.
