I am or I guess at this point I was a long term 14 year customer of the Maids. When I first became a customer, the original owner and staff were great to deal with and did a very nice and thorough job. The original owner passed on the business to his family and things have sadly not stayed the same. Very recently, the current owner left a message on my home voicemail stating that he hadn’t raised my rates in a long time and because of this he needed to speak to me about it. I was more than willing to discuss this with him when I got his voice mail a couple of days later when I returned from a job. I travel for my work and they should have my cell phone number, which they never called. His message was just 2 days prior to my next scheduled cleaning. They came every 3 weeks. As soon as I got back into town I tried repeatedly on the day of my scheduled cleaning to reach the owner, who wouldn’t return my calls. I then learned from his office manager he had removed me from the cleaning schedule until he had a chance to speak to me, which he never indicated he was going to do. I feel this is an unprofessional and reprehensible way to treat a long time loyal customer. Sadly, I feel now I have been given no choice but to find another house cleaning service since the owner of the Maids no longer wants or values my loyalty nor my business. The three stars indicate that overall I was happy with the cleaning service, but very unhappy with the way I was dealt with by the owner.
